I've ordered a few cakes from this bakery and they all were so good! I'm a yellow cake w/buttercream icing type of girl, so that's usually my go-to. Easy to order and great customer service. I'm so glad my coworker put me on to them. I haven't had a good cake like theirs in years.
I appreciate their “family run” business values in a world of corporate giants. McEntyre’s Bakery has been my go to for custom baked treats for many years - from the moment you walk into the shop in Smyrna it has that giddy nostalgic smell of real butter and sugar and the most colorful display of mini cakes, cookies, donuts and all things delightful! If you need custom iced cookies for parties (birthday, graduation, showers) THIS is your place!
This bakery was lovely. The staff were so helpful, too. We ordered 12 cake squares (strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, red velvet) and a double chocolate chip cookie. Strawberry and red velvet were popular with our group! There are so many options here to buy and try. We will definitely be back!
My friend told me about this place, to order my daughter’s Sweet 16 cake. The initial service was impeccable. The team was very attentive and made every effort to get the cake just as we wanted it. It was a bit pricey, but for the results it was well worth it. The kids that worked the counter are not as attentive as their predecessors. The customer service at the counter definitely leaves a ton of room for improvement. Over all it was a pleasant experience and I was ultimately happy with the results of the final product.
My boyfriend took me here and few times and he gets me this cake from there multiple times ! Incredible cake , and barely eat sweets or cakes but anyway overall 5/5 everything I done tried . And the people are really nice, everyone and the food is always fresh. Got some bread, GERMAN** chocolate cake*** it has cornflakes on top (chef’s kiss) and soup , and it’s delicious . I will always be back tbh.
I loved the vibe of the shop and the displays. Me and a friend was recommended this place for our baked goods and we are satisfied. I have read the reviews which gave this shop not so good reviews and I believe we all need to give each other grace. My friends red velvet squares were a hit at her meeting and I got donuts decorated to go with our coffee on a chilly day. Be blessed. I will be going back for my brothers birthday cake!
Big thank you to McEntyre’s (specifically Joy and Joel) for helping with my sons birthday cake during one of the busiest days of the year! Joy helped me brainstorm a way to creat just what I wanted for our Shark/Thanksgiving theme. Joel took the time to call and clarify on design. And man what a yummy cake!!! Soft, yummy and boxed up neatly. Some even said better than their wedding cakes! Will be recommending to everyone!
I come here far too often because it is so good. We come here for occasional sweets like donuts, cookies or their $1 cake slices, cheese straws, and have had their chicken salad and other lunch options. We order from them for all special occasions like birthdays, baby showers, gender reveal cakes. Their cookie cake is especially amazing and our go to for events. Every time we serve it people ask where we got it from because of how good it is. I’ve never been disappointed with McEntyre’s and recommend to everyone!
Our daughter loved, loved, loved her cake. She drew the picture and wanted her picture on the cake. We spent hours between Publix and Kroger and the mall to find the perfect cake. She was very particular as she does have some sensory challenges. She hates glitter, shimmery, gold etc... This was her first ever party with other kids. I am glad we have such an amazing bakery right in our neighborhood.
I was so pleasantly surprised walking into our bed and breakfast just now to find the most amazing birthday cake on the table!! They managed to recreate the image with incredible accuracy and the colors are exact too!! Everyone here is impressed! I’ll update the review later when we get to taste it, but I just had to leave 5 stars based on the looks alone. Thank you guys! It means the world to me!!!
